Some Days.

Some days have the potential to be a lot worse than they are. And some days, you experience that potentially horrid day. Some days are better than others. Some days are worse. Some times you may just want to collapse down hard into a corner and sob your eyes out, because at least then you know you’re feeling something, anything. Some times you may want to climb to the top of a cliff and yell out exactly how you’re feeling because you just can’t keep your happiness contained anymore, and you want the whole world to know that. Some days you’ll realize that the things you’ve done in your past can really affect your future, but you’ll also realize that those things will only affect you if you let them affect you. Don’t let them affect you. Once you let things affect you, you start having those potentially horrid days, and believe me, nobody wants to have those days. Some nights you’ll lay in bed and wonder how your life could possibly get any better, and then the next night you may think about how your life could possibly get any worse. Things change. Things change all the time. Things change in the blink of an eye. Every second, of every day. Every day is different. You’re going to meet people that change you and your life for the better, and you’re going to meet people who change your life for the worse. You’re going to be faced with life-altering decisions, but you need to realize that it’s okay to make the wrong decision. It’s okay to make mistakes. Every one makes mistakes. It’s how you make up for those mistakes that count. It’s who you decide to let into your life that counts. It’s how you decide what kind of day you’re going to have that counts. It’s how you decide who you’re going to let affect you that counts. It’s your happiness that counts to you, and only you. You are the master of your own life, your own fate, your own days. And some days, you’ll be better at realizing this.
